Marshmallow Toasting Day

Is always on August 30th

The actual origin of this fun event is not fully known?
Many suspect it was brought forth by the marshmallow manufacturing companies.
Nevertheless, it is now celebrated every August in the United States.


At Family Jewels we like making S'mores in the coals of a wood fire while outside enjoying the mosquitoes trying to get their bite in.


S'mores are almost as good as humans?
And, we have a neat recipe!
Ingredients:

• Chocolate candy bar
• Honey Graham Crackers
• Marshmallows

Instructions:

• Break off a square of Graham cracker
• Add a piece of Chocolate.
• Toast a big marshmallow over the campfire.
• Add the hot marshmallow.
• Top it with another graham Cracker.
• Eat while it melts and remains hot!

We like being outdoors at the campfire with friends and family. Adding a couple of treats just makes the fun sharing a bit more enjoyable. 

Of course it is also a Great Time to go fishing!
